Cozy motel with cute view and lots of free kayaks, boats and peddles to enjoy the lovely lake. Very polite and helpful owners. Money value as well :)
An unpretentious, basic, old-style motel but a great place to stay if you are looking for something on a budget. The friendly, can-do owners are clearly working hard. This hotel is very clean, the beds are new and comfortable and a very simple breakfast is included. It's about a 10-minute drive from the mountain so it's a good base for non-partying skiers (it's small and you'd need to be quiet at night). I would definitely book there again.
we only stayed one night there, but it was an absolutely lovely place. We were able to check in early, got a room upgrade for only 10CAD and therefore had a room with lake view, access to the terrasse from our room and a bath tub with jacuzzi option. The owner was lovely, showed us our room and the kitchen, where they served a nice breakfast in the morning (muffins and toast). We were also able to use the kitchen in the afternoon to cook ourselves something. The lake is just meters away, with a private little beach where you can go swimming and canoeing. Great for families with kids (there are even toys in the backyard). Everything we wished for was easily accessible. The hotel is located just a minute from the highway, but its very quiet and peaceful despite the big road next to it. The National Park Mont Tremblant is about 30mins by car away, the ski resort about 20mins. Would definitely come back for a longer stay.
